Yes, it's a real bird. Image was shot a few months ago at the San Francisco Zoo. It was in a walk in netted enclosure so no bars between me and the bird allowing for a clear shot. The bird enclosure is only a few feet away from where the unfortunate Tiger mauling took place. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
